 Quak Hiang Whai - Managing Director

Hiang Whai is a veteran journalist and a former news editor of Business Times. He has worked in print and television media with media conglomerate Singapore Press Holdings, spending six years heading the Hong Kong bureau for Business Times covering the Greater China region. Hiang Whai left journalism after 17 years to join Singapore's United Overseas Bank Group as head of group communications and investor relations divisions. He left UOB in 2008 and completed a Masters degree at Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.

 Lee Han Shih - Guest Columnist

Han Shih worked 21 years at The Business Times, making himself a pain in the fundaments of many people who were very pleased to see him go in 2003. He now runs the Potato Productions group - The Corporate Observer's parent company - which provides content and solutions across many platforms from print to Web to mobile. Writing for The Corporate Observer means that he can once again become a pain - but more effectively, over more than one platform.
